Hi adil,

It seems that the first error message is related to the SharePoint app store.

Can you access SharePoint app store in the site?

If not, I recommend to edit the web.config file for each web application to allow the requests to app store at Office.microsoft.com.

<system.net>

  <defaultProxy useDefaultCredentials="false">

      <proxy usesystemdefault="True" proxyaddress="http://yourproxyserver:port" bypassonlocal="True" />

  </defaultProxy>

</system.net>

For the second error, I recommend to check the schedule for DiagnosticsMetricsProvider TimerJob and make sure that it is not started at the same time as Timer Service Recycle Job.

Best regards,

Victoria

Hi adil,

This Performance Metric Provider  job is used to collects the performance metrics data and by default, it ran every minutes.
And the Timer Service Recycle job is actually a restart of SharePoint Timer Service(sptimerv4) in services.msc.
When this job is invoked, it will call a function called EnsureWCFSettings to set the properties of DiagnosticsData.svc which will be used afterward.
When setting these properties, SharePoint Timer service will call the Update method to update the configuration database, and due to the nature of the update method, this action is exclusive. Which means if there is a timer job updating the object, no other timer jobs could do the same thing unless the exclusive lock is released.
However, since the Performance Metric Provider  job runs every minute, so next time the job is invoked, it should successfully run as the previous exclusive lock is released.

This is normal behavior after the Timer Job has been recycled and this error message can be safely ignored.
Clearing the configuration cache on all the SharePoint Servers will fix it temporarily.

Best regards,

Victoria
