Ladies and Gentlemen

I have a 'Members_List' with 30 rows & 6 columns.  The book says to quickly edit an app, to use 'Quick Edit'. It also says 'Quick Edit'
is available on every app based List or Library. So, I have a list called 'Member_List', I click on the LIST tab and I don't get
the 'Quick Edit' icon.  Do I have a GIMP version of SharePoint?. Thanks. J

This still a mystery , I clicked as some members suggested but I still see the Quick Edit' greyed out. Would it be possible that I have a maimed subscription or I have not turned on some setting?. Your imput will be highly appreciated. J
