Texts inside cell of a table going outside margin when exporting to word from SSRS 2008
Hello, Texts inside cell of a table going outside margin when exporting to word from SSRS 2008. I have set the properties like Page to A4, Left-Margin=0.5in, Right Margin=0.5in , Body= 8.27-0.5-0.4=7.27in Weird thing is i am having another table below it with same formatting height and width as the earlier one but the text in that table is within margin and proper but in earlier one it is going way out of margin. Also the KeepTogether property is true for both tables. Kindly suggest a solution, ASAP. Thanks in advance.Regards, Amit

Hi Amit, Word supports page widths that are up to 22 inches wide. When exporting report to Word, if the report is wider than 22 inches, the renderer will still render the report; however, Word will not display the report contents while in print layout view or reading layout view. Just as the following screen shoot shows. To view the data, switch to normal view or Web layout view. In these views, Word reduces the amount of whitespace, thereby displaying more of your report contents. The report body can grow or shrink to accommodate the report items contained within it, and the report body might grow beyond the boundaries of the physical page size. If you want the report to appear on a single page, please make sure that all the content within the report body fit on the physical page. For more information about the report body and physical page, please see: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd255278(v=sql.100).aspx Regards, Fanny LiuFanny Liu TechNet Community Support
