Textbox values don't render in PDF, TIFF
I have several SSRS 2008 R2 reports with textboxes that render just fine in HTML, MHTML, Excel & Word but values just don't show up when rendered to PDF or TIFF. Some textboxes are directly bound to dataset fields, some use simple expressions and
some use embedded HTML markup. There seems to be no consistency about these conditions and whether the values are rendered. This is a fairly typical native SSRS server configuration, viewing reports in Report Manager. My next step is to move
these reports to another R2 server an try to reproduce it.
Has anyone seen this problem?

Hi Paul,
I never heard the issue before. Can you give us some details so that we can repro it easily in our test environment? Additionally, try to install the latest package CU4 on it to see if the issue is gone. Open
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2345451 and see the SSRS 2008 R2 cu4 package.
thanks,
Jerry

Thanks for the quick reply, Jerry. I'm unable to reproduce the problem outside of the client's environment. I've asked them to install the cummulative update as you have suggested and I'll repost with the results.
The server is running Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition x64 SP2 with local instances of SQL Server in native mode:
The database engine version is 2008 [10.0.2531.0 (X64)]
Reporting Services is R2 [10.50.1.1600.1] X64
The textboxes that return no values in the PDF & TIFF renders are either in the report header area or in a list data region. One is bound dircetly to a field, one is an expression that has static text concatonated to a parameter label and the other
uses an HTML placeholder with data bound to a field.
