Task Sequence for Deploying MED-V
Hi Everyone, I'm looking at Deploying MED-V out to the company I work for using SCCM - and by fasr the best option looks to be using a Task Sequence. Does anyone out there have any experience in deploying MED-V this way? As there's little to no information out there on the 'net or in any MS resources pages. And to be honest I don't know where to start with a Task Sequence... Cheers, Rich

I am assuming this is software? You are trying to deploy as part of Operating System Deployment or after the fact? Realistically if the installer is a .exe or .msi you could create the task sequence and just make it run a command line like you would from the computer such as : (For MSI) : msiexec /i "<path>\<filename> /(passive/quiet) and any other. (For .exe) : <path>\<Filename> /<switches> To be honest though your best option is creating a program and distributing it to your DP/s so that the installation is local to each network. Doing the program you can still do the same functions, all it does is pass the commands to the command prompt. Seems if it can be installed using cmd then you can install it with SCCM. Learning VBS also helps a lot...
