Task Sequence Problem (reboot pending)
Hi, I would like to deploy a package ant task sequence includes the steps below; 1. .NET Framework 4.0 installation 2. Restart 3. Application installation Bu the TS reboots before the 2nd step with log below. And when the user logins it reboots due to 2nd setup. I should have prevent the reboot. Do you know why this happens ? .NET installation includes with parameters /quiet /norestart LOGS Program completed successfully (reboot pending) The task sequence execution engine successfully completed an action 0 namespace Verified policy is compiled in 'root\ccm\policy\machine' namespace Installation completed with exit code 0x00000bc2 Installation successful, reboot required Releasing of Job Request successful The task sequence execution engine performed a system reboot initiated by an action

The snippet from the logfile does not contain enough information, but I guess that the installation of .net framework results in an exitcode of 3010 ("The requested operation is successful. Changes will not be effective until the system is rebooted."). The TS engine then reboots automatically (and there's no way to change that behavior).
