Task Notification Email Contains Wrong Embedded Links
We are having an issue with new MOSS 2007. It is a minor issue, but important as we have remote users accessing the system via the links sent in email notifications almost exclusively. Here's the situation - on a task list, we have configured that email gets automatically sent to the 'Assigned To' person. The email is getting sent, as expected. The problem is that the email contains the default URL for our web application, not the internet URL. For example, our servername is OKCSP1, but our SiteUrl is http://sharepoint.site.com. The email should have 'http://sharepoint.okc.com/tasklist' as an embedded link for 'view task' in the e-mail. Instead, it is using 'http://okcSP1/tasklist' . What is really confusing is that an ALERT on the same list uses the correct embedded links. It is only an issue on the task notification email.Has anyone see this problem or know of any information about how to resolve?

Hi, It might have to be with the Alternate Access Mappings... ¿are they correctly configured for each zone? Hope it helpsEnrique Blanco PMP, Consultant www.eblanco.com www.wandau.com

I am looking at the same issue now as well, with the extranet zone. I am using ADFS to authenticate partner companies in the extranet zone, and the task assignment email is still containing the link for the default zone. I've checked my AAM and they seem correct; I was wondering if you've been able to resolve the issue.
