Tape details when it was backed up in December 2014.

I used '|' in protection group name, when I check below MS KB blog I came to know that special characters aren't allowed. So now tape barcode is readable but its showing unrecognized. Is there any way to restore data ?

None of these worked for me. I think DPM team identified this as bug but hasn't provided fix yet. 

If DPM isn't recognizing tapes with special characters names then why its allowing user to use special character in protection group name while creation !
