TFS check in of RDL files from a local drive
We are using SQL Server 2008 R2 and TFS 2008. I am used to SVN but not sure how to check in my local .rdl file in TFS. When I try to check in a file I get a pop up saying no new changes to check in whereas I did have changes that I was checking in. Could you please let me know the procedure to check in my files. Thanks in advance.............

Hi ione721, From you description, do you mean modifying the code of a local .rdl file but a pop up preventing you to save the changes? If so, you can save the modified report as a separated file or copy the .rdl to another folder outside the Pojrect folder, and then open the .rdl file in the BIDS. You can also copy the code of the modified report, paste the code in a blank .txt file, and then save it as .rdl file. If I have anything misunderstood, please feel free to let me know.
