Hi,

Yesterday I scheduled two task sequence on two  different collections one for uninstalling Office 2007 and then installing office 365 and other for replacing office 2007 with 2013. I configured maintenance window for the same on both collections.

Timing was 4:30 AM to 8:30 AM IST for both collections. but when I checked I found deployment was not even started and all the systems were in "waiting for maintenance window" status.

1. I checked the status but they are were stuck on Waiting for Maintenance Window.
2. I tried to increase the MW but didnt help.
3. I checked on some system they were showing waiting to install status in software center even if no other installation was in process.
4. Checked the ServiceWindowManager.log log and found that there was MW available on the systems but still for some reason deployment didnt work:

I would check your maximum runtime.
It might be due to your Maximum runtime on your task sequence is configured to have a runtime more than 270 minutes.

That doesn't make sense.
Unless you in your deployment has configured it to run outside MW, it shouldn't start when the MW is below maximum runtime.

Either way, i would still configure the Maximum runtime to be more accurate, to avoid problems with the MW being to small.

That would depend on what you have in your Task Sequence.

Is it a TS that only installs some applications, or is it a complete TS with OS installation, applications, and Software Updates?

Okay, then configure it to be 120.
Only reason i say 120, is Again it depends on which langauges and updates you have in your package, but 120 is 2 hours, that should be more than enough.

Remember also to check your maximum runtime on your application.

I just had a look on your logfile, and your client does recognize you have a MW - therefore i am pretty sure this would solve your problem.

Yes, I think that will help me because the deployment I done before has a good maintenance window for approx. 9-10 hours. that's why deployment worked before.
