System Center uninstall applications

Good morning,

We are running SCCM 2012. We upgraded to R2 from R1 in late August of 2014.

We immediately noticed that we lost the uninstall button for installed applications on client workstations.

Research revealed that the issue was known, and would be remedied with cumulative update 1. This update was applied, but did not resolve the issue.

We are currently up to cumulative update 3, and still no real solution to the uninstall button. It will work if there is more than one application listed on the "Installed Software" tab to toggle between, but is greyed out when only one application is listed. It will work if the application is listed on the "Installation Status" tab, but, again, only if the application is listed there and if there are other applications to toggle between. Toggling, by the way, will make a greyed out uninstall button live.

I need this uninstall to work as it should. Are there plans by Microsoft to address this issue or, is there a permanent solution available?
