System Center Essentials on a closed network
I am trying to install SCE 2007 SP1 on a network without internet access. The installation fails after the reports section and uninstalls everything. One of the errors that is displayed is: "The specified domain does not exist or cannot be contacted" How can I get around this portion of the install?

It appears that the problem was with SQL. The automated install during the SCE install would bomb and the install would fail. I installed SQL separately first then the SCE and the install worked. I am still having problems, the SCE is looking for a Windows update server but the LAN is not connected to the internet so I can't manage updates. Is there a way to manually download the catalog file and copy it to the SCE server so that it can run updates?
