The SCE 2007 Software summary does not show the vendor for many applications, including some of Microsoft's own applications.How can I assign a vendor to an application, and preferrably modify the report to support grouping of vendors.For example Office Professional should be grouped under Microsoft as a purchased product, but the .NET framework is free.

Hello,The function of software inventory in SCE depends on the "Add or Remove programs" list, which you can findin Contol Panel. Please open "Add or Remove programs" list. You will find that some programs registered its publisher and version in the OS and some programs did not.Besides, the software inventory report cannot be customized in SCE 2007.Thanks,Yog Li - MSFT
