System Center Configuration Manager Roles on Management Client
Hi.
Can the following Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager roles be installed on the
same server that is running Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition with the hypervisor role enabled, i.e. the server hosting the virtual machines whose configuration is to be managed?

Rob is right. It does work from a technical point of view if the server can handle the load (depending on the number of clients, configuration of ConfigMgr, disk subsystem etc)Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de

Just to add one point here though, depending on how you've licensed the guests on the Hyper-V server, running other services on the parent is not allowed licensing wise. And of course, you are going to negatively affect the other guests performance
wise by putting anything in the parent. It's bad practice in general.Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | Twitter @JasonSandys

I read this as all roles on his HyperV server to provide support to his VM clients ... good info about licensing though Jason!
