System Center 2012 Configuration Manager SP1

Hi All,

I new to SCCM, so hopefully I can get this sorted.....

I have installed.....for some time now SP1 V5.0.7804.1400 and would like to upgrade to SP2, any ideas where I can get this?

What's the difference between "System Center 2012 Configuration Manager SP1"  and R2 i.e which do I install??

Can you advise the upgrade process and at the moment I suspect it would be very simple, given we only us it for SCEP.

Many thanks.

A colleague of mine has written a useful blog article on this very topic:

Check it out here:
Installing ConfigMgr 2012 R2 SP1

If you have a volume licence agreement you can download the media for the new version from there.

The following article documents the features in 2012 R2:

If all you use ConfigMgr for is Endpoint Protection then I'd suggest your vastly under utilizing ConfigMgr and probably paying more than necessary for an anti-virus solution. However Endpoint Protection doesn't gain any additional features from R2, so you should just install SP2.
