System Center & Performance Counter
Hi
I am new to System Center. I just want to know can I monitor my own application using System Center?
e.g. I want to monitor my console based application that has Performance counters, I can check these counter in PerfMon, How can I use System Center with my application to display the counter data?
I am using
System Center Essential 2010 Trial Version
Windows 2008 R2

Hello Jangid,
I'm afraid you cannot monitor the Performance counters of the application. The following articles will provide more details about monitoring in SCE.

I am just wondering then why there is a Performance View with some options?
SCE2010 showing some nice UI with performance criteria and condition with specific counter name, with specific instance name etc.
Can you tell me How to fit my application to System Center and monitor my counter?
