System Account Vs Site Collection Administrators/Farm Administrators permissions
I have installed SharePoint in the server with Local User Account. i.e. The local User is the System Account for MOSS. But in our server we have blocked all local users to login to Sharepoint site. Only Domain users having access to the site can login. So, if I add my login-id to Central Administration's "Site Collection Administrators" or in "Farm Administrators" group, Will I be able to perform all the activities that a System Account can perform?

Thanks Ahmed, In Policy for Web Application, I can set up the policy for Web Applications only. But what about Central Admin? I cannot add the policy to Central Admin. So, How do I ensure that I can perform all the activities in Central Admin that the System Account can do? Thanks,

A Farm Admin controls and has full access to central admin. Adding someone to it grants the previliges you require.I LOVE MS..... Thanks and Regards, Kshitiz (Posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.)
