Syncing Text Messages from Motorola Q
I am switching phones and need to get 400 plus text messages off the Motorola Q before turning it back in to Verizon. I signed up for their data plan and tried syncing through Microsoft My Phone, but it is giving me an error message since my phone is using Windows 5.0 rather than what looks to be a required 6.0 version. Verizon says I cannot upgrade this phone to 6.0. The error message when I try the My Phone download is "The current connection cannot be used for your request. Please end the current connection and try again." I tried rebooting the phone and also upgrading my phone with a *228 but none of that is helping. Any suggestions would be welcome as to how I could either get My Phone to work or for other ways to sync my text messages. Thanks!

After checking the issue, it seems this is a general Windows Phone related issue. As this forum focuses on Windows SteadyState specific issues, this inquiry would best be posted to Windows Phone forum: http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/windowsmobile/threads The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us.
