Synchronization Rule: Flowing/Adding a value to a multi-valued string
Hello All, I am trying to add the primary email address of a group in FIM to an existing list of addresses in the proxyAddresses multi-valued attribute in AD. I have tried using the customexpression in the outbound synch rule: CustomExpression("SMTP: "+mail) ==> proxyAddresses However, the effect which this has is not what I intended. I was hoping the above statement to add the groups email to the existing list of emails specified in the proxyAddresses multi-valued string. The result: All the existing proxy addresses were deleted from the multi-valued string and the group's email was added. This is not my intention. Will I be able to use code-less provisioning to do something like this or will I need to create a new a workflow activity? Please advice. Declarative provisioning is not able to manipulate multi-valued attributes in the current release. Unfortunately you need an activity or use scripted rules for this attribute. /AndreasThis posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
