Sync Rule external system resource type not updating
Hello Again !
has anyone had this problem before ? i was synchronizing only users
i now want to add a syn rule for groups, a added everything i needed to in the AD management agent and the FIM management Agent and synched all my agents restarted services and i still cannot see groups in my external system ressource types

Make sure you have selected the group object class in your AD MA, then refresh the schema and see what you get ... using the Refresh Schema item in the Action menu, as well as editing the properties of the AD MA and re-entering your ma credentials (this
refreshes the schema of the MA in the portal). If this still doesn't work, re-enter the credentials of the FIM MA account. A few of us are having problems with the refresh for AD MAs at the moment, getting 6331 events in the Application
Event Log ... could be happening for you too?

i've done that already, nothing happened ! :s all the group objects are already in my AD MA connector space,
i also selected Group in my FIM MA and added the group attribute flows...

I have a silly question, since groups are in ADMA cs, did you ran export on ADMA?It's never too late in life ... to start living

okay i found out what the problem was,
when you install update 1 make sure you install it for both FIM synchronisation and the FIM “service and portal”
if you install it on one component only you will get the 6331 error

OK - so this 6331 error seems to be popping up all over the place, and there are at least 2 PSS calls presently open for this issue that I know of now (mine plus one other). The impact of this problem seems to vary significantly, so if you believe
this problem might be preventing you from refreshing the MA schema in the FIM portal I would escallate this now.
