Survey in WSS 3.0 - editing of responses
Hello everyone, I have a problem with surveys in WSS 3.0. I created a new survey, let users read only their responses and
edit none of them. User is not allowed to edit it with "Respond to this Survey" button, that´s OK... but, unfortunately, user can edit it (modify the answer) with the link "Show all responses" where he can find his/her answer and
edit it once again... I don't know what's wrong..
Thank you for your help and take care!

Hi Radek,
After doing Item-level Permissions settings in Settings->Survey Settings->Advanced Settings, if we set
which responses users can read: Only their own,
which responses users can edit: None, then when entering Show all responses page, users can only see their own responses, and they cannot edit them.
Another thing we need to pay attention is
Note: Users with the Manage Lists permission can read and edit all responses in Advanced Settings.
If the user can edit their responses in show all responses page, it may because that the user have manage lists permissions, please go to Survey
Settings->Permissions for this survey, choose all the users, click Actions->Edit User Permissions, give all users Contribute permissions and check the result.
Thanks,
Qiao

Hi Qiao,
thank you very much for your response. I followed your instructions and I realised that I chose wrong permission for respondents. Now it works!
Thank you so much! :)
