Supported WSUS Version Not Found

Hello Everyone.

I have currently installed a single standalone primary site of SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 with CU1.

I have configured WSUS on a separate machine of WinServer 2012 R2. The WSUS version is 6.3.9600.16384.

I am trying to sync SCCM site with WSUS. It fails with the following errors (Im checking in WCM.log):

Please guide and help.

Many thanks.

Yes, that's a supported version of WSUS. When you're running WSUS on a remote server, please make sure that you've got your SUP installed on that server also and that you've got the WSUS console installed on the primary site server.

A million thanks to you Peter.

I have identified that I have installed the SUP role on SCCM primary site server, and did not install any WSUS console on it.

I don't have any idea how to install WSUS Console on remote server (SCCM primary site server).

Can you please guide me how to do these things? If possible, please share the step-by-step method.

Many thanks once again.

Regards,

Hasan

You can use the Server Manager for that. It's part of the Role Administration Tools feature.
