Super Basic SCCM question? (Upgrade path)
Currently, IM running a Windows Server 2008 SP1 (x64) / SCCM SP1 (R2) Primary Central site. (Mainly the management point system) & (DP for PXE/OSD) (SQL on a seperate box) (SCCM in Native Mode) = Lets call this = MPServerIn the same subnet, I have a Windows 2003 R2 system SCCM server acting as the DP for application deployment. Lets call this DPServerMy question is: Should I upgrade the MPServer to Windows 2008 SP2 or (Windows 2008 R2) before installing SCCM SP2? (Or upgrade SCCM SP2 before any OS upgrades?)?Should I consider a OS upgrade on the MPServer / DPServer? Additional background info: 1 other Child Primary site exist (WIN 2k8 SP1) (Native Mode)80 other Secondary sites (DP's) exist in the WAN
