Styles & JSs loading errors in load balancing sharepoint farm when loa balancer upgraded
Hi, We have a sharepoint farm with APP server and 2 WFE servers with load balancing configured. Everything working fine untill the network team have upgraded the load balancing HW; now we are facing the following problem: when you access the portal, sometimes you see that the styles and scripts not loaded especially when you refresh the page by hitting F5 but when you hitting Ctrl + F5 styles and scripts comming again. Actually when refreshing the page F5, we see the following errors in the web console (error console) in all browsers: Error: The stylesheet http://ourportal/WebResource.axd?d=iz5nxN4nqBn9EIKicULeFDjbTyl-im1vSukixJHN3tczu7Ky2Rt3AhdXfMjwa-ShpAO7g2kdIQF-i5CuiGxHHSQxDhZUHPssheM4J8-CYYpMgNNmX3-727I_mF6RPXgB3y2MOwK3ed1KBovi4ry9oBpIefq8tmI9KvOMCnYAGn4yQIdR0&t=634183489860904202 was not loaded because its MIME type, "text/html", is not "text/css". Source File: http://ourportal/English/Pages/default.aspx Line: 0 Actually I google this issue and find the following solution like: - checking that the portal web.config in all WFEs using the same machine and validation keys but it is already the same in our farm and the problem still there, please advise???Regards, Anas N. Hi, have you checked if mime types are configured correctly in IIS of both the servers? Refer this http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb742440.aspx I hope this will help you out. Thanks, Rahul Rashu

Hi, Can you access the same page before they upgraded the load balancer? Did you change any setting in your farm? What is your IIS version? If you can access the page before upgrade, please check the configuration of the load balancer, make sure they are consistent. If you use another browser to reproduce the issue, what is the result? Check the load balancer configuration. Try using a sticky session. A sticky session allow caching those common URLs. A dynamic session does that too, but I have seen issues with dynamic sessions that do not occur with the sticky ones.
