i'm trying to restore a wss 3.0 site on another machine. i have installed wss 3.0 on the machine, now when i try to resore the site with stsadm fuction it gives me this error: your backup is from a different version of sharepoint services and cannot be restored to a server running the current version. the backup file should be restored to a server with version 12.0.0.6545 or later the wss 3.0 has sp2 already how can i fix this error?

now i have run sharepoint product and technologies conf. wizard it gives me this pup op: you must run setup to install new binary files for every server in your server farm. if you have multiple servers in your server farm, run setup and the configuration wizard on the ohter servers now, and then return to this server and click ok. what do i have to do here, can you please tell me.

If you have multi farm setup then you need to update your all moss farm otherwise if you have single farm server then it will work. Mahtab Siddique
