Storage Metrics Page (Storman.aspx) shows incorrect size in SharePoint 2013

Hey all,

Came across this issue in our environment (SP Enterprise 2013) today:

The storage space utilization shown in Storage Metrics Page (Storman.aspx) is incorrect. The actual size of the folder is way less than what is shown here. On reading blogs and technet, it was found that this was a known bug in 2010 version - due to the file check-out / no owner files etc etc, and a fix was made available in 2012 CU (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2687339)

So seems like the bug is still present in 2013 version - Any known fixes / workarounds (other than Export / Import)

Cheers!

Rahul

Hi,

From the similar issue post, installing sharepoiont 2013 SP1 fixed the issue.

Thanks for you Lisa. Unfortunately installing the Service Pack 1 is not an option, as my farm already has service pack 1 applied :(

So the issue is not resolved yet. Worked around with it by opening the folder in Explorer, made a copy of the folder, and deleted the old folder.

Thanks for your time Eric and Jerry.

@Jerry - I am unmarking this as answer, as the issue is not actually fixed :(
