Stop specific updates
Windows keeps trying to update my Nvidia 560m graphics card even though there is not actual updated from nvidia. This update is always failing. Can someone inform me on how to disable this update? I already unchecked give me updates for other products

Unfortunately you cannot hide, or disable WU by normal means.  I have the same problem and daily go into device manager and roll it back to a working driver.

Even with the old WU UI available in Control Panel?  You can get that back:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsUpdate\UX]
"IsConvergedUpdateStackEnabled"=dword:00000000

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsUpdate\UX\Settings]
"UxOption"=dword:00000000

Hi adevezin,

As ZigZag3143x said, in the new Windows Update UI, there is no direct way to disable the specific update.

We dont recommend the registry way to disable update in traditional UI, this may cause some unexpected issue, more information:

OK, there's always that remote possibility if left that way, but if using Control Panel Windows Update allows disabling that specific update, then there's a pretty good chance, I would think, that it would remain deselected when the Registry setting I mentioned is changed right back.

Give us your Win 10 TP version each time you post a question, such as build 9926, 10014 etc. Please.

See if this will help somehow......

In the search box, type advanced system settings > Hardware tab at the top > Device installation settings > put a dot at " No, let me choose what to do " > put a dot at " Never install driver software from Windows Update" > Save changes.
