Steadystate proxy component is incompatible with flash 10
I have installed steadystate on a computer with flash 10. If I create a user flash will only work if I disable the proxy settings in IE's connection tab. Flash 9 has worked on restricted users in the past, but the new version 10 appears to be incompatible. I have tried all of the tricks listed in this forum; as well as, others from various help sites. I am trying to limit a user account to access only one website "weather.com" which uses flash. If I turn off all IE restrictions for the user, they can access the site properly. If I set the only restriction to limit access to the one website, the page is broken. My question is this, are there any plans to update steadystate to be compatible with Flash 10?

Hi, does the issue only occur if you enable "Prevent Internet access" in Windows SteadyState? Have you added wildcard in "Web addresses allowed"? For example, *.weather.com . For your reference, currently there is no plan to update Windows SteadyState 2.5.Sean Zhu - MSFT

I apologize for the late response. I had lost track of this post. The answer is yes enabling "Prevent Internet Access" causes the problem, also I tried adding the allowed web address with and without the *. We finally left the user account unrestricted for web access.
