Good Day. As I know WSS 2.5 is no longer support in Windows 7. Besides this WSS, is there any others application have similar function like WSS? Windows Steady State has two distinct features, he WDP, which Deep Freeze handles as a reboot to restore feature, and the restriction of specific profile account settings, to make a user's experience more constant, across users. You can look into Faronics other product WINSelect, which offers the same functionality as the profile restrictions from within Steady State. nakamori, an good alternative to what you're looking for is Rollback Rx. It's a system restore tool with much more options than the default WSS, which MSFT doesn't plan to support for 7. deep freeze will work too, only that I found it to take too many resources while Comodo Time Machine is a direct rip off of Rollback RX.
