Hi Guys, I am actually running a package through SQL server agent as job. However the package has to create index during the process. Now, while running the package as job SQL server I can see the status of the package or any activity if the package got failed or at which stage the package is at. Is any way I can view the package status or at what step the package is at. I am sitting here since last 3 hours waiting for package to create index's but no luck. I know its a huge table and the are three index to be created on fact table. Any help Thanks,

Enable Logging in Package and trace the events of package when they occur. for e.g. if you will use logging in Sql Server DB then selected events of package can be found in Table when they occur for each task of Package. hope this helps!!!!!! Cheers, Shailesh
