Status messages changed?
Hi we are on the way to migrate SMS 2003 to SCCM 2007. We developed an application to monitor certain things and the application triggers a collection refresh cycle and monitors when the refresh is completed. The message ids tracked are 2510 (start), 2544 (refreshing), 2537 (finished). On a new server and also after doing an in-place upgrade these messages are not logged anymore by the collection evaluator so the application has no information about the collection refresh status. A new message is logged with a message id 30104 indicating collection refresh has been requested. The componet logging this message is the Microsoft.ConfigurationManagement.dll. Is it possible that the loglevel is not "high" enough or is this a simple a change in SCCM 2007 and we have to change the application to query for the new messageid? I attached a document found in the web where the old and the new message ids are listed for Sccm 2007. Thanks in advance Joachim

Any chance that Site Settings -> Component Configuration -> Status Reporting -> Report: "All Milestones" was previously set to "All milestones and all details"?

Hi Thorsten this was also the first thing I checked but "All Milestones and All details" is selected". In the collection evaluator log the success is reported but no status message is created for this event. I rebooted the server but the missing messages are not reported anymore. Thanks so far Joachim

Only to close this issue. It was a developer fault and had nothing to do with sccm itself.
