Please provide more information, are you saying you want to call a workflow from a SharePoint 2013 Farm to start a workflow in a SharePoint 2010 Farm?

Or maybe you want to use a workflow in a farm that is of the version SP2013 to call another workflow in the same site that is of the version SP2010.

Please explain correctly your issue.

Thanks

I will try to explain my self :

I have a list and in the list have 2 WF: one is 2010WF and the other is 2013WF.
I would like to start WF2010 from the WF2013.

you are right: SP2013 to call another workflow in the same site that is of the version SP2010.

Hi Nikita,

According to your description, my understanding is that the error occurred when running the SharePoint 2013 workflow which would start a 2010 workflow.

Based on the error message, I recommend to edit the workflow and use App Step to start the 2010 workflow to see if the issue still occurs.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/jj822159(v=office.15).aspx

For test, please use another account to test and create a new workflow to see how it works.

Could you please provide more error message in the ULS log for further research?

Best regards.

Thanks

Hi Nikita,

Based on the error message, this issue is due to the permission of the user who started the workflow.

I recommend to use another account to start the workflow to see if the issue still occurs.

Best regards.

Thanks
