Stacking multiple data fields in a column (not stacking chart)
My report has many columns where each column data source is a field of a record from a record set. I would like to stack related columns into stacks. For example, a 7 columns will be condensed into 3 columns like below. In addition, I would like to sort the columns when any column header is clicked. Is it possible to have a textbox contain multiple links and bind the onclick event to each link in the textbox to trigger the sorting? Thanks. FldDate FldColor FldFirstName FldItem FldAmount FldLastName

HHi jsjs, According to your description, you would like to put several columns with link format into one textbox, and when clicking one of the links in the textbox, it will trigger the sorting of the report, right? Please correct me if my understanding is wrong. If that’s the case, I am afraid it is a limitation in reporting service, I suggest you can develop your own web application in Visual Studio to accomplish this. Otherwise, I suggest you to post the thread to our Visual Studio Forums: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/visualstudio. There are many experts focus on it. If you have any question, please feel free to ask. Thanks, Eileen
