We have had SQL 2008 (not R2) on our systems for a while now and part of the installation was to install BI. I have just made a dev platform with sql 2008 R2 (evaluation ver) Reporting Services. If I use the built in report builder (from the manager) I can create a Sparkline grid. From my Visual Studio 2008 version, there are no options for sparklines, indicator, gauge etc. Firstly, I am able to download a plugin that allows me to create Sparklines etc from my VS 2008 installation Secondly, If I had the full version of SQL 2008 R2 and installed BI, would I get the sparklines in the list of tools automatically?
