Hello, I'm running into an issue with our sharepoint setup, and for some reason i'm the only one in the company having this issue. When opening word documents from sharepoint every now and then (not everytime) my computer gives word focus, but the requested document doesn't load. I have to close the all word documents, click the document link again in sharepoint and then the sharepoint document opens. When this happens I can still open local documents and sometimes I can have 5 sharepoint documents open but other times i can only have 2 or 1 document open. Even when working with the same documents. I am completely lost as to where to start looking (Tried google, didn't find anything) but - it's not reproducable, it happens often but not when you try to trigger it - it doesn't happen with the same file all the time - it doesn't happen after the same number of files every time - it only happens to me. - word can still open local files when it happens The setup is: - sharepoint 2007 - windows 7 - office 2010 So I am somehow inclined to think it's a client issue as i'm the only one having it (all laptops were initially installed using the same image) but then again it's only happening with sharepoint documents. If anybody could help me or point me in a general direction i would be very grateful

Check is the any Add-Ins installed on your desktop. Some time the Add-Ins schema will stop other MS word instance to opened. If not work then rebuild the MS work completely. Senthilrajan Kaliyaperumal
