Some PCs not joining the domain.
Its seems pcs is some locations no longer join the domain anymore. These are in locations where there is not a specific dc for that site so guess could be related with that. Error is --->Failed to get DC with code (54b): The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted. You can add/remove pcs to and from the domain from the full os fine, any ideas ?

anyone any ideas ? It seems at any site where there is not a local dc, pcs are not able to join the domain. OSD with XP works ok though, so maybe something to do with the UDI task sequence and windows 7 ? it says invalid credentials for joining the domain but the credentials are fine.

Have you tried joining 1 of the win7 computers manually to the domain with the same credentials ? Are you joining the machines using the Netbios or FQDN name ? And if the latter is your DNS properly configured in the locations without a DC ?

I can join the pcs to the domain fine manually with the same credentials. I am using FQDN name, DNS looks fine, I will find all the relevant network settings from a pc that joins and ompare that to one that doesnt.
