Software deployment status reports incorrectly as not installed
The software deployment status reports that myclients need software ("computer needs software" -yellow warning), but when I open the report all packages that I deployed were successfullyinstalled. I have waited a few weeks to se if the statuschanges, butit doesn't. I would appreciate any ideas what couold have caused this and how to solve it.

Thanks again. Yes, I do have another question. I deploy Office 2007 using SCE2007 to a dynamic group of clients. When a new client is added to the group which hasOffice 2007 installed allready, the package isdownloaded anyway but fails to install (repeatedly).Shouldn't SCE detect that the software is installed allready?

Hello sewellia,Glad to see you again. However, as the new report issue you mentioned is different from the one discussed in this current thread, we'd recommend that you start up a new thread for it. We generally focus on one topic in one thread because in this way it will be better for other community members to participate in the discussion, and to search/find specific answers more efficiently in the future. Thanks,Yog Li - MSFT
