Software Package take long time to deploy in computers...
Hi… My scenary is the follow: System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2 in Mixed Mode.. I install forefront endpoint protection, the installation was done perfect, installation package was successfully created, the advertisement was created correctly, however when it sends the package installation to computers, in most cases the installation of the package is not carried out, and when the installation is taking long time to run… I know that it can be used to detect the errors the sccm toolkit, would like to know which logs can use to determine the problem that prevents the installation package can be installed in the computers … What are the logs that I can use to determine the problem? how I can solve the problem…? Hi, I would start by checking the execmgr.log file on the local computer to see what is reported there (%windir%\system32\ccm\log\execmgr.log) For the FEP client installation check %allusersprofile%\Microsoft\Microsoft Security Client\Support\eppsetup.log where you have the installation log file for FEP.
