Software 02D - Computers with a specific software product - Will list 'All' but not when Software product is selected

HI Guys,

when using Software 02D - Computers with a specific software product report we can get the report to list ALL software in a collection however, when we go and select any of the software products form the values list the report turns back nothing.

Any help will be much appreciated.

That will likely be because no one within that collection has that software title. Select the "All Systems" collection and tried the report again.

If i select Collection 'Estates support services' from the list

And then select Software Product "(All)" from the list

it returns a row for each product installed on the pc's  ( See Attached)

If i select Collection 'Estates support services' from the list

And then select Software Product "ABC LanLicenser Client(4.1)" from the list

But you are not comparing the same thing there is a difference between the two software titles. If you select the exact same title and everything will be fine.

Hi I think I see your point "ABC LanLicenser Client" is the product name we can see in the report, however from the drop down list it is putting the verstion in brackets "ABC LanLicenser Client(4.1)" that could be the issue. But this is an out of box report is this normal ?

I don't know why I missed you reply but did you figure this out?

Since no one has answer this post, I recommend opening  a support case with Microsoft Customer Support Services (CSS) as they can work with you to solve this problem.
