Software/Hardware/Stats message inventory not available on CAS

Hello Everyone,

Could you please help me out to resolve the inventory issue on CAS CM2012.

I have a Primary and CAS server. Reporting point is configured on CAS.

Now When I am trying to check client hardware and software inventory from reports then it says data is not availabe. I tried look into CAS DB however views/Tables are empty. there is no data in it. same is happening with status messages.However I can see this data on Primary DB.

After running Exec spdiagdrs i found that inventory data falls under 'Dview' not 'DRS' and their status shows 'Deleted'.

Could you please help me out to fix this issue. Why Inventory Data is not replicating from Primary to CAS?

Why have you set up a CAS when there's just one primary site?
Have you already run Replication Link Analyzer to get an idea if the replication between the sites is working?

Hi Torsten,

We have CAS for Future plan where we have to add a full hierarchy as new Primary.

For replication status I have verified the status through Replication link analyzer as well as from Site Hierarchy. I can see Global and Site data replication status OK.

just to inform you that I see a new settings under:

Administration --> DataBase replication --> CAS primary Replication link --> Properties --> General Tab

This is SQL Server Distributed Views page which contains check box to enable HW/SQ/status message.

Do we need to use this settings?

Yes, I know this is an old post, but Im trying to clean them up. Did you solve this problem, if so what was the solution?
