Hello,
I hope you can help, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
We have small Business Server 2003, and we are experiencing strange behavior.
1) The SERVER was restarted and then we tried to log in as usual using the Administrator Account. We got the following message:
USER ENVIRONMENT
Windows cannot find the local profile and is logging you on with a temporary profile. Changes you make to this profile will be lost when you log off. [OK]
We logged out of this and tried to log in normally, we then got another message:
USER ENVIRONMENT
Windows cannot load the user's profile but has logged you on with the default profile for the system. DETAIL - there is not enough space on the disk [OK]
Does anyone know how to log back into the user's profile?
2) MSSBSSSR.log
This log file continues to grow in file size to the extreme (3.1GB)
Inside this file is the following line, repeated over and over again
"EnumerateEventLogItems returned. *** ERROR: hr = 0x80070553, Cannot start a new logon session with an ID that is already in use."
I keep having to move this log file onto another disk to restore the essential 3.2 GB of space left on the C drive.
3) companyweb
When ever someone tries to access the internal Company Web we get the following error message
"Cannot connect to the configuration database. For tips on troubleshooting this error, search for article 823287 in the Microsoft Knowledge Base at http://support.microsoft.com."
I think that's it!!! haha.... Any ideas??
Many Thanks for your time
Aidy
