Quick question, on the off chance someone else has experienced similar issues.
We have 1 primary site.
Our environment has approx. 2500 Windows 7 Devices
We have 7 Distribution Points across our main sites.
Our Data enter where the SCCM environment is at is Site 1
1 server which runs just the SCCM SQL and SSRS (e.g. Server A)
1 server which runs the SCCM 2012 R2 environment. (E.g. Server B).
The SCCM Admin Console is installed onto SCCM admins devices.
When you launch the SCCM Admin Console the splash screen says: Connecting to Site Database Server B.
Which I know is at Site 1.
However the console is must slower to respond opening up properties of Queries or Collections, component Status etc is much slower to load at another site such as Site 2 (Which has a 100MB MPLS connection back to site 1).
The Console is faster, but still slower at Site 3 (Which has a 1GB PLUS connection back to site 1) but faster than site 2.
Apart from running the console on a server at Site 1, either on a decicated Terminal server or the SCCM server itself, does anyone know how to improve the performance and speed of the console?
Thanks in advance,
Matthew
