Skype for Business Call Quality Dashboard - blank pages

Hi,

I've managed to install the CQD, corrected the Connection Provider for SSAS to SQL (it was using native client 11 not 10 for 2008 R2) to make sure the QoEArchiveUpdate job is running successfully, and corrected the IIS authentication per the deployment instructions. However I'm still getting blank pages in the web interface.

If I browse to http://localhost/CQD it prompts for Windows credentials and shows me the Skype CQD blue banner across the top with the Settings and Help icons in the top right, but nothing underneath. If I try going to System Health or User Dashboard List I just get "We couldn't retrieve data from the server. Try refreshing the page."

I've tried browsing from both IE (with compatibility view & trusted sites) and Chrome. Checked the IIS logs and not seeing any errors in there, nor in SQL. IIS authorisation is set to allow all users. Any more ideas?

SQL, SSAS and IIS all on one VM running Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 with SP1, fully patched.

Using SQL 2008 R2 Enterprise x64 with SP3.

EDIT - also changed authenticatedUserOverride for file access per the deployment instructions.

Thanks,

Jon

Hi Jon.Mozley,

You may try the following suggestions.

1. Make sure your account have read access to QoE Metrics database on the Monitoring Server.

2. Make sure the SQL Agent Service for the instance is running.

3. Check out the article below and try the solution.

Hi Eric,

Thanks for your suggestions so far.

1. I have given both myself and the CQD service account db_owner permission on the QoE Metrics database (monitoring instance).

2. SQL agent for the CQD instance is running and the QoEArchiveUpdate job has been running without any issues.

3. I found this blog post yesterday but it seems to be for a different error. When I first looked at the cube status, it was only showing partially processed, so I ran a full process to be on the safe side. I can confirm the cube is browseable.

This is an upgrade from Lync 2013 but as far as I can tell all the reports have been upgraded and are working fine. Anything else I should check?

I've just realised when I first try to load the page it prompts for credentials twice, is this normal?

Thanks

Jon

Hi Jon.Mozley,

I found this

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/mt126221.aspx

Can it be the problem ? Looks like the Portal is not supported on Windows Server 2008 R2.

Best regards,

Eric

Hi Eric,

That's interesting, is the portal specifically the web/IIS component? If you look further down the page in the "Infrastructure requirements for CQD" section it also states that Windows Server 2008 R2 is a supported OS. Could you get some clarification on this please?

Thanks

Jon

Hi Jon,

Based on my understanding, one is a server platform which can be hosting the CQD, and that one I mentioned should be a client machine that you can access the CQD Portal.

Best regards,

Eric
