Site collection access
Hello, I have a site collection that I can't access the root page getting the error below. I don't have issues accessing sites or sub-sites under that site collection by using the direct URL for those sites. Also I don't have issues accessing other site collections' root page. Are you able to access the site settings for that site collection by trying <site collection URL>/_layouts/settings.aspx. Are you able to access the web parts maintenance page by <Site Collection Url>/Pagees/default.aspc?contents=1 . Nagesh

YES I am able to access the site settings. However when I try the Web parts maintenance page I get the HTTP 404 Page not found Thanks

I tried <site collection URL>/Pages/default.aspx?contents=1 instead and I am getting the same error as when accessing the root

it is possible that the default page has some webpart which is failing on render. can you attempt changing the dafault home page to a new page?
