The text in the config screen of this feature says "Send e-mail notifications to owners of unused site collections" but what I want to know is if this also monitors subsites within that site collection? So if the site collection top site is regularly used but a subsite within that subsite is never used will it email the subsite owner? Thanks in advance

I've had a check on Technet (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262420(office.12).aspx) and as far as I can see, the only people that are emailed will be the site collection administrators (typically those that created the site, but these can be changed). There isn't a setting that detects activity at a sub-site level.http://www.final-exodus.net

Hi, I think it will email the subsite owner. If one certain site doesn’t use within you specify the number days (minimum of 30 and maximum of 365 days), it will start sending notifications. I wish you every success in your important work. Best regards, David Hu
