Site Pages library doesn't work properly after migration from Sharepoint 2010

Hi all

Weve found two issues with the web part pages in a Sharepoint 2013 web application migrated from SharePoint 2010:

1) The standard way of create new web part pages in SharePoint 2013 is using the "New document" option of the Site pages library, but our library doesnt have the "New Web part page" option, only the "New Wiki page"

2) The migrated web part pages doesnt have all the men options of SharePoint 2013 in ribbon (for example "View All pages").

Any way to solve this problems?

Thanks in advance.

Hi mberdasco,

Whether you were using 2010 UI after migrating to SharePoint 2013. If yes, to add a web part page, you need to do as Site Action->Create->Pages->Web Part page, similar to doing in SharePoint 2010.

If you want to use SharePoint 2013 UI after migrating to SharePoint 2013, you need to upgrade site collection as Site Action->Site Settings->Site collection upgrade.

For the second issue, could you give a screenshot about this issue?

I hope this helps.

Thanks,

Wendy

Hi Wendy

The site collection UI is already upgraded to SharePoint 2013, but the "New webpart page" option in the Site pages library is not present, so there is no way to create web part pages using the standard method in SharePoint 2013.

Here is the screenshot of the second issue (texts are in spanish)

My sp2013 web part page

Thanks in advance
