Site Content Type Columns
I created a form that has been published to our sharepoint site and is being used as a content type. The problem is, I have since updated the form with new items and I added those items as columns when publishing but after updating the form in application management and going to the site, the site columns do not get updated. The form itself is updated and the new items show up, but the columns in the site content type are still the old columns from the original form that was first published. How can I get the columns to update?

The terminology you're using is a little confusing, but if you customized the forms for a list, then the forms will no longer pick up changes to the columns in that list automagically. You'll need to go back into the forms and update them manually. Do you mean you are using property promotion from Infopath form to SharePoint list column and it does not work as expected? Could you please provide a link to the procedure you followed to do this?
