Site Collection User Email can not be synchronized to SSP User Profile
Hi all, I have two site collection for testing - A&B . I would like to create Discussion Topic Email Alert for all existing testing A/C. I created "A" site first and added all users as user profile A/C created. I find 3 user profile email are not correct or email field is empty, so I tried to update user profile email, even delete old user profile and add new one. e.g. I updated Peter's email A/C, from pet@hellword.orz to "peter@helloworld.org". But my action cannot take effect for "A" site, Discussion Topic Email Alert still send to pet@hellword.orz . I still cannot fix this after IISreset or remove/readd user. Therefore, I tried to add new user - peter to site B (never created on Site B), my alert email can send to pet@helloworld.orz. Could you please advise me how can I send alert to peter@helloworld.org" from site A email alert? Thank you very much.

Hi Auhust.NET Try to modify the e-mail address in Active Directory, then create a new SSP, run a full profile import, create a new site under the new web application, then check the effect. Based on my test, I can see that the e-mail address of a user changes when I click alert me.
