Hi, SiteDirectory is not getting updated with new site collection sites... we have configured it to automatically update when a site is created.... It was working before and suddenly stopped... not sure why!!!! :( We have two WFEs load balanced running on Windows 2008... I ran "stssadm -o getsitedirectoryscanschedule" on both WFEs, they showed same results i.e., "daily at 01:00:00" Under "Timer Jobs" section in Central Admin, I see that WFE where CentalAdmin is hosted hasn't run the job "Site Directory Broken Links Scan " from past 2 months, however this job is running from other WFE (I am not sure this makes any difference)... I don't see any other errors anywhere.... Any suggesstions?? Thanks and Regards, Charan V

I have done these settings long back and it was working also... suddenly it broke... not sure where to start the debugging!!! any suggestions?

As per your original post, "stssadm -o getsitedirectoryscanschedule" will only display the setting for the site directory scan. The site directory scan timer job will only scan for broken links within the site directory list. It will not add sites that have already been created to this list. What are the settings for your master site directory? What is the process used for creating the site collection (step by step)? What url is being used to create the site? Are there any custom metadata columns on the site directory list?
