Shortcuts are being displayed even after their removal

I have installed a software(using Administrator) which installs/creates shortcuts in "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\", and I have uninstalled the same software using another user account (standard user account) on the machine, uninstallation was successful and the shortcuts got removed.

But when tried logging into the "Administrator" user account I still see the shortcuts in start menu, pointing to nothing. I have verified the "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\" which doesn't contain any entries.

I wonder from where the start menu is getting these entries? Can someone point me to the start menu common location if this is incorrect "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\" . I Hope this is not the software's issue as it has removed the shortcuts and it doesn't them anymore in one user account (standard user account).

nishanth_p,

Which build are you in?

There used to be Start Menu shortcut issue in Windows 10 build 10074, which should be fixed in Windows 10 build 10130, and now the lasted build is 10159 (Available to the fast ring):

If you would like to upgrade to the current build 10159, then check this issue again.
